Kaieteur Sports – The Guyana Mixed Martial Arts Karate Association was recognised Legacy Awards held in New Jersey, Atlantic City recently.
In a release the association noted, “We are thrilled to extend our heartfelt congratulation to two remarkable individuals who have made significant contributions to the world of martial arts. Their dedication, skill, and unwavering commitment have earned them well-deserved recognition at the NAFMA. Master Lloyd Ramnarine, an esteemed practitioner with an impressive 8th-degree black belt, has been honored with the 3rd-Year Returning Hall of Fame Legacy Award. His consistent excellence, leadership, and tireless efforts have left an indelible mark on the martial arts community.
We warmly welcome Senior Instructor Sensei Zaffar Ramnarine, who has been recognized with the prestigious Black Belt Legacy Award. Sensei Zaffar’s dedication to teaching and fostering a spirit of discipline and respect exemplifies the highest ideals of martial arts.”
