Pooran 77, Ramlakhan 5-40, Ramnarine 5-12, highlight second round

Zeelandia, Sans Souci and Good Success recorded victories as play in the second round of the Busta 40 overs cricket competition continued last Sunday in Wakenaam.
At Zeelandia, Essequibo middle order batsman Navishaul Pooran blasted 77 (4×4,5×6) while Dennis Adams made 49 (4×6,5×4) and Nandcoomar Boodram 40 (5×4,2×6) as the home team made 210 all out in 37 overs against Maria’s Pleasure .
Teenage medium pacer Leorayan Ramlakhan bagged 5-40 and Kennard Lewis 3-25.
The visitors in reply scored 123 before they were dismissed in 25 overs.  Richard Lewis top scored with 36 as Boodram and national U-15 player Ricardo Adams grabbed three wickets each and Dharmendra Pooran took 2-28 for Zeelandia who won the game by 87 runs.
