Consistent bowling from Joshua Gardner and Brian Bowen led Muslim Youth Organisation to first innings points over Ace Warriors when the Georgetown Cricket Association Noble House Sea Foods Second Division two-day tournament continued yesterday at MYO.
Gardner and Bowen shared all ten wickets between them as Ace Warriors were bowled out for 89, batting first.
Joshua Phillips and Emmanuel Persaud made 14 each as Gardner bagged 6-36 and Bowen 4-26.
MYO responded with 209 all out.
Khemraj Ramdeen struck 56 while Christopher Surat made 38, Chris Ramdeen 36 and Rudolph Singh 26.
Devendra Lall grabbed 4-56 and Raymond Bandu 2-28.
Trailing by 120, Ace Warriors closed on 97-5, batting a second time.
Opener Rawl Enmore is unbeaten on 62, while E. Amin made 10. Shafiek Ishmael has so far picked up four wickets.
The game continues at 11:00hrs today.
