Reigning Caribbean champions (Group 4) Kristian Jeffrey and (Superbike) Elliott Vieira headline a strong provisional Guyana contingent named by the Guyana Motor Racing Club to participate in the opening leg of the regional championship set for May in Jamaica.
According to a release from the Club the other competitors selected are (Cars) Kevin Jeffrey, Andrew King, Danny Persaud, Mark Vieira, Mohan Rangasammy, Chet Singh, Afraz Allie, Rameeze Mohamed, Paul Vieira and Shairaz Roshandin, while the other (Superbikers) are Matthew Vieira, Stephen Vieira, Joel Neblette and Paul Yearwood.
The release added that the final composition of the team will be subject to the availability of the selected competitors.
However, with Guyana also being the defending Caribbean overall champion every effort will be made to ensure that the strongest team is sent for a successful start to the defence of the title.
