Nestle Milo Under-20 Schools Football Competition…
Underdogs Central High will be aiming to register an upset when they face defending champion Lodge Secondary in the feature game of today’s Nestle Milo Under-20 Schools Football Competition which continues with three matches, at the Ministry of Education ground on Carifesta Avenue.
This fixture will be the second matchup of the day with the clash between Ascension Secondary and St. Mary’s Secondary designated the curtain raiser.
In the third encounter, South Ruimveldt lock horns against debutants St. Stanislaus College from 14:00hrs, while the final fixture will see Cummings Lodge Secondary against Queenstown Secondary from 15:30hrs.
The event’s winner will bag the championship trophy and $500,000 towards any school project, while the second, third and fourth placed finishers will pocket $300,000, $200,000 and $100,000 respectively, also towards the funding of a school undertaking.
Awards will be given to the event’s most valuable player, highest goal scorer and best goal keeper; while four full scholarships to attend Chase Academy free of cost is up for grabs.
