The four top teams have already been decided and will now battle for final berths when semi-final action in the Hearts of Oak Masters Football Club Inter Ward football competition gets underway at the All Saints Scot Church Ground, Princess Elizabeth Road, New Amsterdam tonight.
When the action gets underway at 19:00 hrs, group ‘B’ winners, East Canje will come up against group ‘A’ runners up, North New Amsterdam while group ‘A’ winners, South and group B runners up Central New Amsterdam will clash.
Meanwhile, in earlier matches, Winston Benjamin (25) and Delroy Dey (54) netted for South New Amsterdam while Nolan Richards pulled one back for Manchester in the in the 55th minute. Randolph Hazel (17) and Seon Hetmyer (24) were the men on target for East Canje.
Central New Amsterdam went ahead after a Jamal Joseph double (45 & 55) supported by a 60th minute success from the elder Joseph, Kelvin.
Rose Hall Town went ahead when Andy Romolus scored in the 30th minute but North New Amsterdam hit back with goals from Delroy Ferdinand (37 & 54) with support from Dellon Fariah (49). Fyrish/ Lower Corentyne was gifted a goal through a 56th minute defense error.
