Doctors at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation are monitoring the condition of 80-year-old Lyma Peters, who survived a plunge through a window of the Palms geriatric home.
Peters, the patient, reportedly jumped through a second floor window of the institution some time yesterday morning.
She sustained fractured ribs and injury to her left leg. By late yesterday she was said to be conscious. She was admitted to the hospital’s High Dependency Unit (HDU).
