The Undersigned individuals would like the public to know that they are not associated with two letters published in your Saturday 10th March 2012 edition captioned “APNU and AFC must support Cricket’s IMC” and “A call for the Resignation of the WICB President and CEO”. These letters are purportedly written by “former executives of the GCB”.
We also deny all reports and insinuations via the state media that we have joined or are in any way associated with the government appointed IMC.
We would also like the public to know that the Government of Guyana has claimed, in court documents filed against the Executives of the Guyana Cricket Board that the state owns all assets and bank accounts belonging to the Board and the GCB does not exist, while the Government appointed IMC should be declared the legitimate authority to manage and regulate cricket in Guyana.
It is only a matter of time before this applies to all unincorporated entities and sports associations.
