After opting to not defend his three-time Soca Monarch crown, Adrian Dutchin apparently laid low for awhile. But from all accounts he was not sitting idle.
Currently residing in the USA, he’s working feverishly to release an album by the end of June.
‘Finally’, the album, the artiste says, will feature about 17 tracks. While it is Dutchin’s debut album, some of the artistes with whom he collaborated are Peter Ram, De Hitman and Terry Gagraj. For the album, he worked with producers Daron Grant, Shawn Nowel, Burchmore Simon and Avinash Singh.
He said that as a prelude to the releases, “people will be hearing songs from the album on the radio very soon, and that videos will complement the songs.”
Not expecting to make a profit, he said that the album will be available on I-tunes, Krosskolor.com and some websites and stores.
He noted that unlike other artistes his album will be downloadable as “it’s just a move to promote my music.”
