An Albouystown woman is trying to locate her 62-year-old brother, Deonarine Ishmael, who has been missing since last week Sunday.
Sandra Ramotar said that her brother, also known as Dennis Persaud, of Lot 152, James and Non Pareil Street, Albouystown, was hospitalised on April 6 and was discharged on April 15.
She said that around 03:00 hrs on Sunday, her brother, who was staying in the upper flat with his mother, walked out of the house.
A friend reported seeing Ishmael later that day in the vicinity of Meadow Bank. The friend left for a few minutes and when he returned, Ishmael was gone.
Ms. Ramotar says her brother was also seen walking along Broad Street, Charlestown.
Since then, there has been no trace of him, although his sister has checked several places, including the Georgetown Public Hospital.
Ishmael’s sibling said he is still physically weak from his recent illness.
Ms. Ramotar is pleading with anyone who has information about her brother’s whereabouts to contact her on telephone number 223-2056.
