Matarkai Neighbourhood Democratic Council of Region One made timely donation
to one the region’s most promising athletes, Joshua Williams. The NDC Sports Organizer Ryan James recently presented a pair of running spikes and outfit to Williams who is the current National 1500-meter champion.
James advised the young lad to be disciplined on and off the track and to always focus on his academics. Williams, who attends the Port Kaituma Secondary School, thanked the NDC and hinted that others follow suit. The lad is expected to participate in this weekend competition in Boyce and Jefford relay festival in Georgetown.
