Dolphin Speed Swim Club chalked up 683.5 points to successfully defend their title when they
hosted their 2017 annual meet at the National Aquatic Centre, Liliendaal over the weekend.
The Swim Academy Sea Otters took the runner up spot with 337 points followed by Orca Speed Swim Club on 272.5.
Nikita Fiedtkou of Dolphin SSC powered to victory in the Girls 15-17 50m breaststroke in 40.12 while Andrew Jordan of Sea Otters won the Boys 15-17 breaststroke in a time of 34.27. Earlando Mc Rae of Orca SSC took the B18 and over 50m freestyle in 25.86, Andica Vieira of Dolphin SSC claimed the G18 and under 50m breaststroke in 2:06.78, Jeremy Sookram of Dolphin SSC carted off the B8 and under 100m breaststroke in 2:00.91.
Aleka Persaud of Orca SSC was in good form winning the G9-10 100m breaststroke in 1:34.63, Paul Mahaica of Dolphin SSC romped to victory in the boys 9-10 100m breaststroke in 1:40.38.
Jaydyn George of Silver Shark Aquatic SC took the top podium spot in the G11-14 100M breaststroke in 1:33.06 while Leon Seaton of Silver Shark won the B11-14 100m breaststroke in 1:26.31.
Kenita Mahaica of Dolphin SSC took gold in the G 15-17 100M breaststroke in 1:29.25. Nikhil Ramnarine of Sea Otters grabbed the B15-17 100m breaststroke title in 1:18.19 and Earlando Mc Rae bagged the B 18 and over 100m breaststroke in 1:15.16.
