Nominations invited for sports, education and community development
The Rose Hall Town Youth and Sports Club (RHTY&SC), later this month is set to host the second edition of the Ansa McAl Tribute to Excellence Awards which will see the entities honouring persons who have made outstanding contributions in the field of sports, education and community development over the years and have been positive role model to youths.
Berbicians are being encouraged to submit nominations for persons who they believe have contributed under the mentioned headings. All nominees must be based in the ancient County and have over twenty years of unblemished contribution.
Nominations can be sent to the RHTY&SC Office at Area ‘H’ Ground, Rose Hall or by email to [email protected] by Friday June 20, 2014.
Meanwhile, last year awardees were Carl Moore (Sports), Marilyn La Rose (Community Development) and Rosaline Garnett (Education).
