UDFA vice president Sharma Solomon, who is the Regional Chairman of Region 10 (Upper Demerara/ Berbice), told the clubs attending, “…we must admonish those clubs who failed to turn up” as he congratulated the clubs who made the extra effort to be there at the opening which saw the Linmine Drum Corps leading the parade.
Mr Solomon was accompanied by Secretary of the UDFA Ms Cindy Sagon at the march past of the clubs.
Solomon said that one major sponsor CBR Ming had come on board and shortly it is expected that BOSAI Minerals Group Guyana Inc will be partnering with CBR Mining to sponsor the First Division UDFA League also.
