Waterfalls Magazine – Melo’s Entertainment and Club HQ did not disappoint with “Knock it from the Back” featuring Trinidadian artiste, Yung Bredda, DJ Energy and Guyana’s very own Granny IV. The event was indeed a steamy one held on Friday night, at Club HQ (the old Club Rio), located at the corner of Oronoque and Forshaw Streets, Alberttown, Georgetown and continued into wee hours of Saturday.
Some lucky fans even won cash as they got the opportunity to compete with each other in a dance off while dancing on stage alongside the Trinidadian singing sensation and Granny IV.
Melo’s Entertainment even had some surprise artistes lined up, Latin Singer, Issibaby from The Bad Family Music and Gabyluv as he set the mood for fans awaiting the main event while partying to some acrobatic performance from Granny IV and a steamy one from Yung Bredda.
Gabyluv opened the show just after mid-night on Friday before Granny IV come on stage, to perform his soca hits, Miss Grippy Remix, Bumper Tricks, Big Aunty and Red flag.
He sent the crowd wild with some acrobatic splits from mid-air and event danced while swinging from the balcony at Club HQ.
He picked some of his lucky fans from the crowd to dance with him and even thought them how to split to the beat of his soca. They were rewarded with cash prizes for their effort.
The Bad Family Music’s Issibaby then took the stage with her sensual dancers. She performed some of her popular dancehall remixes and few of her very own Latin tunes before making way for DJ energy to prep the vibes for Yung Bredda who made Club HQ steamy.
Cell phone lights filled the club as the Yung Bredda performed his hits. Like Granny IV, he pulled some lucky fans to dance on stage and they too left rewarded with cash.
The show ended just after 04:00hrs on Saturday as Yung Bredda headed back to his hotel to get ready for another show with Melo’s Entertainment at Baramita later that evening.
