Goals in the 44th and 119th minutes off the boots of Dextroy Adams and
Devon Millington respectively propelled Slingerz FC to the next round, 2-1, when play in the 25th edition of the Kashif and Shanghai football extravaganza continued at the Demerara Cricket Club Ground Queenstown Wednesday evening last. Alden Lawrence (60th) narrowed the score for the opposition, Victoria Kings in what was relegated to an inconsequential gesture. The third and fourth place finishers receive five hundred thousand and two hundred and fifty thousand dollars respectively.
