The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport received the backing of Ganesh Parts and General
Store of Robb Street for its football development programme which is currently ongoing. The entity on Wednesday last donated 144 balls to the Ministry.
Chief Executive Officer Chatram Persaud who presented the balls to Director of Sport, Neil Kumar said they are very happy to give back to the society. He commended the Ministry for focusing on youth development and took the opportunity to encourage other corporate entities to support the programme.
Kumar thanked Persaud for his backing adding that the gesture will go a far way in helping the camps. He pointed out that they have over a hundred clinics around the country and the interior is in dire need of balls.
