The Cavalier’s Sports and Tour Club (CSTC) will commence its season of activities for the year tomorrow with a 10K race around the inner circuit of the National Park and the organisers are urging affiliates to gear up for a highly competitive year.
In a press release dispatched to this newspaper, coordinator of activities, Ms. Maria Nelson disclosed that her organisation would be focusing on competitions in all ten administrative regions.
She disclosed that the inaugural race for the year would attract walkers in all of the categories including males, females, juniors and veterans.
The differently able will also continue their quest for honours.
Participants are advised to convene at the National Park at 06:00hrs tomorrow for a prompt start at 06:30hrs.
Meanwhile, activities continue with a race walk for junior walkers to be staged on Sunday February 6. Participants would start off at the Soesdyke Primary School and then proceed to the NDC office for the finish.
The organisers are once again appealing to the members of the corporate community for assistance to ensure another successful year of events.
Participants would be presented with trophies and medals in the respective categories.
