Play in the Plaisance Inter-Block Football Tournament organised by the Ministry
of Culture, Youth and Sport continues today with a double-header at the Community Centre ground, starting from 14:00 hrs.
In the first game, Industry will collide with Front Side which will be followed by the clash between 40 Block and Goedverwagting at 16:00 hrs.
Industry, who went down to 110 by a 4-1 margin in their opening encounter, will be hoping that the likes of Rawle Junior, Fidel Bynoe and Sherwin Marshall compliment the good effort of Kevin Louis, who netted the lone goal for them, while Front Side, a team dominated by a number of Under-17 players will look to Captain Lerone Charles, Mickel Hamilton, Stephon Hamilton, Travis Garraway, Jevon Gibson and Chavez Hendricks to lead their attack and quest for victory.
In the feature encounter, 40 Block who narrowly lost to Scheme in their first game will obviously want to reverse their fortunes and the services of Captain Kerwin Bacchus, Anthony Marks, Royden Marks and Christopher Gomes could prove crucial to the end result, while Goedverwagting’s chances rest squarely on the shoulders of Leyland Leacock, Kevin Richards, Leon Lewis, Warren Gilkes and Leon Kennedy.
THEM PIMPING OUT GUYANA.
