The more one looks at a situation the more the solution tends to elude the looker. At present the focus is on noise nuisance, something that people had been appealing to the previous administration about. Now there is some opposition to the early closure of noise-making venues.
One such venue is going to attempt to defy the odds and when approached, will claim that the music is way too low to offend anyone. But the authorities will say that stop means just that. A court action is going to be filed.

Another calamity will occur on the river. A small craft is going to collide with a speeding boat with fatal consequences. The best efforts of the marine authorities will not be able to curb such accidents since there are just not enough patrols.

The crime wave has peaked, largely because of police action, but the end is far from near. Frustration would push a group of young men to defy the odds and attack a business place. However, people are beginning to take the law into their own hands, and this will be the case this time around.
The role of the police would be reduced to merely investigating the final outcome.
