Defending champion St. Pius warmed up for the defence of their title with a convincing
4-1 triumph over Green Acres to enter the quarter-final of the Courts/Petra Organisation Schools Pee Wee Football Tournament on a confident note as play in the Round of 16 ended yesterday, at Thirst Park ground.
Last year beaten finalist West Ruimveldt also looked impressive as they eased to a comfortable 2-0 win over Ketley, while Tucville, who has been the most in-form team since the start of competition again displayed ominous form with a 4-0 thrashing of North Georgetown to make it to the quarter-final round.
However, the most imposing performance of the day came from Kitty-based F.E. Pollard who inflicted an 8-0 drubbing on Smith Memorial.
