Guyana will come up against hosts Dominican Republic, Haiti and Barbados in the second-round Group F of Caribbean qualifying for the CONCACAF Under-17 Championship (December 8-12), the Caribbean Football Union announced yesterday.
Jamaica originally was designated to host the group August 18-22 but it subsequently was named as host of the CONCACAF finals. That secured it an automatic berth in the finals of the CONCACAF championship and required the group be reconfigured.
Guyana had won Group C of the first round of qualifying while Barbados were triumphant in group D.
Two teams from Group F will qualify for the CONCACAF finals February 14-27, along with Trinidad & Tobago and Cuba.
