All Saints Primary and Corriverton Primary were among the victorious teams when the 22nd annual National Sports Commission, AL Sport and Tour Promotions, Banks DIH, Regional Democratic Council (RDC) Region Six End of School Year Primary School Windball Cricket Champions Trophy commenced recently.
New Amsterdam Primary asked All Saints Primary to bat and they made an imposing 58 without loss from their allocation of five overs. Michael Newland Jr made 37 which included five fours and two sixes, while Fead Hussain contributed 17 including two fours.
In reply, New Amsterdam Primary could only muster 25 from their allotted overs with Esan Gilgeous getting nine; Jayden Trellis took two for two.
Corriverton Primary opted to bat against Skeldon Primary and posted 36-2 with Peter Mc Lean scoring 14; Hemant Mobin took 2-7. Skeldon Primary managed 31 for 5 in reply. Luke Singh made 11; Neil April took 1-4.
Crabwood Creek Primary were limited to 15 for 8, batting first; Rakesh Hoopchand had 1-3. In reply, Massiah Primary, the Upper Corentyne defending champions got to 16 with out loss in 1.2 overs.
In the Lone Girls match played, Crabwood Creek Primary scored 31 without loss, while Skeldon responded with 32-1 off 4.1 overs.
