In addition to costing the taxpayers millions of dollars each month for Presidential support, former President Bharrat Jagdeo is adding more expense to the national coffers.
Yesterday, one of his drivers on an unexplained mission, drove one of the cars that the State has provided for the former President’s security detail, into a canal at Goedverwagting, East Coast Demerara.
The vehicle then slammed into a concrete fence that borders the Plaisance playground.
