An 18-year-old Affiance teenager, who was apprehended at a house in Affiance with a 14-year-old girl, is expected to be released later today on station bail.
Reports have indicated, the 14-year-old Cotton Field Secondary School student was found in the company of the 18-year-old, Tuesday afternoon, at Affiance. The 14-year-old said that there was no sex, and a medical report has had to be delayed, since the 14-year-old was said to be experiencing her menstrual cycle.
Reports have also indicated that the 14-year-old was apprehended along with the Affiance resident in her School uniform. Detectives at Anna Regina Police station were summoned at the house in Affiance, after alert residents informed them about seeing a student during School hours at a house with an adult.
Earlier this year, a number of female Students, a minibus driver and conductor were arrested after calls were fuelled by residents of Capoey Mission, alerted police.
The female had walked with social clothes, while the minibus driver and conductor had beers in the vehicle.
