Robin Persaud will defend the top spot at the 6th Annual Universal Auto & General Supplies Cycle Meet on Saturday at the Inner Circuit of the National Park.
Persaud, who has been featuring in the top flight among his fellow competitors this season, is aiming to outpace his rivals in the 35 lap School Boys & Invitational event.
The winner of last year’s juvenile 10 lap contest, Jason Pollydore has not been active and a new winner will be crowned come Saturday. The events slated are:
12 to 14 yrs Open – 3 Laps
BMX Boys 12 to 14 – 3 Laps
BMX Boys Open – 5 Laps
BMX Boys 6 to 9 yrs – 2 Laps
BMX Girls 6 to 12 yrs – 1 Lap
BMX Boys 9 to 12 yrs – 3 Laps
Veteran U-50 yrs – 5 Laps
Veteran O-50 yrs – 5 Laps
Upright Cyclists – 5 Laps
Juveniles – 10 Laps
School Boys & Invitation – 35 Laps
Manager of Universal Auto & General Supplies Shameer Baksh will be on hand to assist with the presentation of prizes.
