Kaieteur News – The management and staff of Kaieteur News joins the rest of the nation in mourning the loss of the five servicemen who lost their lives in a helicopter crash during a military mission in the Cuyuni-Mazaruni Region on Wednesday.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to the relatives and friends of Guyana Defence Force members: Brigadier (Ret’d)Gary Beaton, Colonel Michael Shahoud, Lieutenant Colonel Michael Charles, Lieutenant Colonel Sean Welcome and Staff Sergeant Jason Khan, who perished in the crash.
We also wish for a full and speedy recovery to the two survivors of the tragedy, Lieutenant Andio Crawford, and Corporal Dwayne Jackson.
We salute you all and we are forever grateful for your service in defending Our Dear Land of Guyana!
