A 30-year-old woman, identified as Malika Greene, collapsed and died while riding a bicycle on the Grove Public Road, East Bank Demerara, yesterday afternoon. She was picked up and rushed to the Diamond Diagnostic Centre where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
The woman, according to reports, had been residing in Berbice, ever since she got married some time ago. She is said to be a mother of five, the youngest being seven months old.
Greene travelled to Georgetown yesterday to meet with her mother. Relatives said that she did complain of feeling not too well and she was slated to visit a doctor soon.
The dead woman is survived by nine siblings.
