Kennard Memorial Turf Club will be hosting their Phagwah Race Meet on March 13 at Bush Lot Farm, Corentyne, Berbice and entries close on March 6.
Several races are carded for the day with the main event being D1 and lower W/A which carries a first prize of $700,000. Other races on the tins are L and lower for a top purse of $100,000, H 1 and lower which will see the winner taking home $240,000, K and lower in which the victor will pocket $120,000, G1 and lower for a first prize of $280,000 and J 1 and lower, the winner will take home $160,000.
These races will be run under the rules of the Guyana Horse Racing Authority and owners of horses must pay at least $5,000 for each horse at the time of entry.
