Heineken’s Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) Champions League (UCL) 2015 Series Promotion kicked off Saturday night at Seepaul’s Bar, Alexander Street, Kitty, with Basil Winn exemplifying name and nature in a Foosball Competition.
Winn won a limited edition Heineken-branded football after winning a Foosball contest against another participant. Foosball, a table assimilation of football, is part of Heineken’s UEFA Series Promotion at bars across Guyana.
Heineken Brand Manager, Robert Hiscock had said that Guyana is extremely passionate about football and as such, Heineken will ensure something special is done for the UEFA Champions League. Heineken is a long-standing sponsor of the Champions League, and as such, the brand has kicked off its annual local promotion.
Customers across Guyana will have the chance to take part in similar Foosball competitions at the various bars in the Heineken UCL Series where football fans will be given the opportunity to enjoy the final stages of the UEFA Champions League.
This year’s promotion, like last year’s, will end with a massive final party slated for June 6. It promises to be bigger and better than ever before. The purchase of buckets of Heineken gives participants the chance to win prizes in the Foosball competition.
