Twenty-nine (29) years ago, England led by the flamboyant David Gower toured the Caribbean for a
five match test series. The West Indies led by the indomitable Vivian Richards swept the series five nil. This was the second time England led by David Gower succumbed to the West Indies five nil in a test series. Clive Lloyd’s men achieved this feat in 1984 in the Englishmen own backyard.
