Given the current economic challenges, families both in Guyana and in the United States have less disposable income. Laparkan has therefore introduced a special offer for the shipment of boxes and small packages via both ocean and airfreight.
In a release issued yesterday the shipping company announced that with the offer, envelope-size packages could be air freighted to Guyana from Miami or New York for as low as US$12 while a “recession buster” box can be shipped via freight for US$25.
The US$25 “recession buster” box has been introduced for those families who need to send items for their families but cannot afford the shipment of a barrel or boxes via airfreight.
The envelope size package on the other hand is intended to accommodate persons who need to send home documents in a hurry.
Boxes weighing 20, 40 and 70 pounds can also be shipped via air for US$29, US$69, and US$99 respectively. These prices are for shipment from Miami and New York.
An additional charge will be incurred when these shipments originate from other parts of the US and exclude customs duties when the cargo arrives in Guyana.
