On Friday, teachers and students of the St Joseph High School, in keeping with the spirit of Christmas, took cheer to some less fortune children. Children of the Convalescent Home, St. Ann’s Orphanage and Joshua Home were the recipients.
The first such exercise was held last year, and is an initiative of the school’s head teacher, Ms. Gail Primo. During the exercise, the students donated toys, towels, pampers and other articles.
The exercise was made possible through contributions made by the student population, teachers and parents. The school is planning to make the exercise an annual one.
