Joseph Simon has been retained as the President of the Berbice Cricket Umpires Association
(BCUA) when the body held its Annual General Meeting recently. Augustus Outar replaced Clement Brusche as the Vice President, Brusche did not seek re-election.
Moses Ramphal was elected Secretary while Jai Hardeo returned unopposed at Treasurer. There was no nomination (s) for the post of the Assistant Secretary Treasurer and as a result, the executive committee will make an appointment to fill this post shortly.
The committee members are Omadatt Samaroo, Ganga Persaud and Martin Johnson; Samaroo is the Internal Auditor. Fundraising activities and recruitment of umpires are among the objectives of the new executive.
