The National Communications Network Incorporated (NCN) has announced that Ms. Molly Rampersaud-Hassan is its
newly appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Ms. Hassan commenced duties yesterday. Ms. Hassan is the first female Chief Executive Officer of NCN. The 35-year Hassan worked for several years at the Demerara Distillers Limited, before being appointed Marketing Director of Unicomer, at its Courts and Lucky Dollar franchises in Guyana.
Ms. Hassan is a graduate of the University of Guyana in the field of marketing. She completed a number of courses in Business Development, including Harvard Manage Mentor .
She is also trained in the area of financial management and is currently pursuing Business Studies (major in Marketing) at a London-based University.
She brings to NCN Company over 12 years experience in Marketing Management and Finance.
The new CEO met with the Management and Staff of the Company yesterday to outline her vision for taking NCN forward.
She said that her foremost priority is to ensure NCN takes its rightful place at the top of the media pyramid in Guyana.
She identified staff welfare, effective resource management and improving profitability as her top priorities.
