After battling their way through the earlier rounds, Assassin, Spartons and TNT contested the final of the Faye Joseph Birth Anniversary Dominoes tournament recently at her residence Gaulding Place, South Ruimveldt.
Assassin inked its name on the trophy with 84 games, Andrew Young leading the way with 17 games. Spartons chalked up 75 games to take the runner-up spot while TNT brought up the rear with 66 games. Carl Thompson made 17 for Spartons and Sonia Goodluck the maximum 18 for TNT.
Assassin took home a trophy and $250,000, Spartons a trophy and $100,000 and TNT $70,000.
