The body of a taxi driver, with what appeared to be a bullet wound to the head, was found today at Strathspey, East Coast Demerara.
Roopchand Darshan, 24, called ‘Dave’, or ‘Papi’ was found slumped in his car, which was in a trench.
Kaieteur News understands that Darshan’s close relatives last saw him alive at around 23.00 hrs on Friday, when he left his Enmore home, to ply his trade. The victim would normally solicit passengers in the vicinity of the Enmore Public road.
