Members of the People’s National Congress/ Reform, Region Six, led
by Member of Parliament and Chairman of the Party’s Region Six arm, Dr John Austin, recently journeyed to the Upper Corentyne to visit and present a hamper to the oldest living citizen in Guyana, 110 years old Ms Ismay Spooner.
The visit was made to the old woman’s home at Little Africa, Corriverton .
Although blind Ms Spooner is still very active and has good memory.
During the visit Ms Spooner sang hymns and was engaged in lively discussions with the visitors.
