The construction of the Forensic Laboratory for the Government through the Ministry of Home Affairs which attracted several bids almost double that of the Engineer’s estimate of $478,487, 762 is now closer to reality.
The contract has been awarded to Courtney Benn Contracting Services Limited and the Subject Minister Clement Rohee is slated to sign the contract today.
That company’s bid was $449,721,245.
The respective bids were opened at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board located at the Ministry of Finance.
This project is for the construction of a 5,817 square feet, two-storey (reinforced concrete) building to serve as the Modern Forensic Laboratory
