Charlestown Secondary School defeated West Demerara Secondary School to capture the Ministry of Education/National Sports Commission 7-A-Side mixed team teachers Windball Cricket competition recently.
Playing at the National Gymnasium, West Demerara Secondary batted first after winning the toss and scored 82-3 off their allotted five overs. Arjoon Mohamed hit six sixes in scoring 56 not out.
Charlestown responded with 88. Ronale Bourne slammed 62 with six sixes.
