Face host Dominica, Aruba and
Netherlands Antilles from July 18-24
The National Under-17 team under the guidance of Head Coach Sampson Gilbert commenced training for the upcoming Caribbean Football Union’s World Cup Qualifying competition which will be hosted by Dominica from July 18-24 also involving Aruba and the Netherlands Antilles.
The team commenced encampment at the Diocesan Youth Centre, Subryanville on Monday afternoon.
Yesterday the team continued training at the Tucville Ground with a tactical Awareness session. Some 25-players are presently encamped but the travelling party will be 18 along with the Technical staff. Assistant Coaches to Gilbert are Devon Bissoon, Hubert McPherson with Andrew Hazel in charge of the goalkeepers.
Team Manager is Carlos Bernard. Training sessions are being held twice per day.
