The Management of Corporate Advocate Inc., in association with the Preparation Guild, has launched the “Communication and Leadership” programme for common entrance students (Grade six assessments).
On January 30, the “Best Spellers” competition was also launched at 171 Fourth Street, Alexander Village.
According to Director Gary Thompson, the key objective is to help children gain a greater sense of self worth, build self esteem and apply themselves to achieve greater goals while finding their purpose.
He said maturation techniques are used to teach the children things such as the importance of giving gifts, importance of quality friendship, the practice and theory of communication and leadership and excel academically.
He added the programmers are designed to inspire children to become higher in their journey through life.
He explained that the children who are successful in the spelling programme will be given cash incentives and additional motivational gifts.
He added that the focal point is within the village area temporarily since they are hoping to work with approximately 155 children that are from West Ruimveldt Primary School. The programme ends in the last week of March.
