B3 player Tremaine Forte will captain the Barbados team for the fourth annual regional Blind Cricket tournament to be played in Guyana from July 18-26.
Forte will have as her deputy B2 player Cheryl Griffith, while the side will be coached by Brian Corbin with his assistant being Walter Yearwood. Carrison Henry is the Manager while Leroy Williams is the Assistant Manager and Meschell Pinder is the team’s coordinator.
Jamaica and host Trinidad and Tobago shared the tile in last year’s tournament, while Guyana, who will be hosting the event for the first time, finished third.
Hosts Guyana, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados and the Leeward Islands are the competing teams. The Windward Islands pulled out due to a lack of funds to participate.
