Dear Editor
The grand victory of President Elect of the United States of America, the Blessed and Divine, Beloved of GOD ALMIGHTY, Senator Barack Obama, brought pouring tears to my eyes, and again as I pen this letter to your newspapers, sweet tears settle in my eyes at the magnificent victory of this great son of God, just as it poured off the eyed of Jesse Jackson, Oprah Winfrey and others..
The United States has grown, matured and all the people of this great country have decided upon a great, huge step into the future for themselves, their country, and the entire world. The world is hungry for new leadership as are the people of the USA.
It has been two years since we saw this dynamic young man take the stage, with the light of wisdom in his eyes, goodness in his heart and peace in his persona.
As it got closer to election days, for months myself and family were riveted to the television, CNN or Fox to track his progress.
The more Fox News tried to destroy him, send him into oblivion, the greater he became. He created new systems of fund-raising and communication unheard of in history and he touched the base of humanity and its echelon.
I predicted to all my friends and family members that Barack would win the election. Many said he would win the nomination, not the general elections, as it was perceived that the Far Right would have brought him down.
But he who believes in the Almighty God of the universe and is anointed by him (He who mastered the Art of the Laws of Attraction and the Power of Positive Thinking) who is there that can prevent the ELECT from High Office, as ordained?
The victory is truly bitter-sweet, for his beloved grandmother, who nursed and formatted his education and personality, answered the call of God just hours before the victory.
His heart must have sunk, but he knew that from beyond she saw and blessed him. More tears are pouring down as I continue to write.
How great it would be if his ancestors who came packed in ships, hungry, in chains, beaten, with filth on skins and whip-lashes on their powerful bodies could arise and see that their son, their descendant has taken the highest office of the nation that sucked their life force in the fields under the lash.
Those who prevented his ancestors from enjoying freedom and opportunities in the past, stood shoulder to shoulder, and worked for months as volunteers; as foot-shoulders to the cause.
Nations such as Europe, which built its wealth, power and glory on slavery, today support Obama in leading the wealthiest and most powerful country in the world. America has vindicated itself.
Many, many whites supported and helped Barack. They have come of age, America is truly great. But those who understand the spiritual mysteries of the universe will know that the ancestors are here and they know and celebrate. Oh America!!! I love you.
I never thought the day would come when the world would witness such change; a black man elected as the next US president. GOD BLESS AMERICA. Go Barack! Rule my brother with love and justice and bring dignity to the nation that they broke.
The whole world must pray for Barack and bless him. We have all won. I congratulate our own Bharrat Jagdeo for having the wisdom and foresight to endorse Barack Obama.
