Kaieteur News – Dem boys seh dis ting nah adding up. De lines between party business and government business are becoming blurrier. When de GS holds he press conference, is like is more government business dan party business.
Now, yuh see, dis GS fella supposed to be busy worrying ’bout party matters. And talking bout dem matters. But dis man deh moving like James Bond. He poking he party nose into areas he should not be prying into, including about matters of national security dat should not be discussed with any or everybody, much less be made public in he capacity as GS.
Dem boys hear seh dis General Secretary gone and tell di whole world ’bout what he was told about some senior police officer gettin’ questioned by di US authorities. Like really, who di man think he is, di town crier spreading di news far and wide?
Even if he was told certain things as Vee Pee, he nah gat no right raising such issues at a party press conference. But as said before, there is hardly any distinction now between party matters and government matters when it comes to dem press conferences.
Last time dem check, we gat a Minister of Home Affairs and a President who supposed to be dealing with security business, not di General Secretary of di PPP! It’s like di man forget which hat he supposed to wear at dem press conference.
Dis GS need to stick to party business and leave di security matters to de competent officials. Otherwise, we nah gan know de difference between a party press conference and government press conference.
Talk Half! Leff Half!
