A second half double by Anil Jerry guided Jawalla to a 2-1 win over Paruima Combined when the teams collided in an Under-15 football match
organised by DC Caesar Fox Secondary played recently at Waramadong.
Adrian Jacobs put Paruima Combined ahead in the first half when he collected a pass from Raydon Krammer and blasted home from inside the area. However, Jerry sealed his team’s victory following the break with both strikes coming from within the 18-yard box.
Meanwhile, the Head Mistress of DC Caesar Fox Secondary Ms. Indra Granes said that as part of this programme, every Sunday students from Grade 7-9 are being targeted to share their views on the social ills of society.
“As a head teacher I have initiated a plan whereby every Sunday will be set aside for Sports Development and Culture to deal with issues that affects students especially the Dormitory students. Therefore I am appealing to the corporate community to donate sports gears and musical instruments to assist with this initiative.”
This Sunday, the focus would be on teenage pregnancy and will target Jawalla and Kamarang students. A female Under-15 football match will be played between Kamarang Combined and Jawalla/Quebanang Combine. This event will be coordinated by Ms. Katrina King>
