Golyn 10/10 weekend fixtures…Pride at stake for teams

The Golyn 10/10 softball cricket tournament organized by the Guyana Softball League and sponsored by Golyn and sons, Trophy Stall and Miss Love Trading (West Coast) continues today with five matches slated.
The teams will be playing to ensure their pride is intact as these matches will carry various challenges in terms of villages. The Fixtures are as follows:
Rydem Star versus Ruimzeight:
Rydem Star will want to register another win under their belt before taking on the big guns and Ruimzeight being a fairly new team will look to turn back their challenge and also be in the winning row themselves. Both teams are of equal strength and will look towards their experienced players to prove themselves worthy of that tag.
Amazon Warriors versus Praim XI:
Both teams have some points to prove with each other with Praim XI having the edge by sheer experience. The energy of the younger players in Amazon Warriors can make the difference if they turn up in a mood to demolish their counterparts. This game will be full of emotion as both teams are gunning for each other.
Crossbreed Warriors versus Superbet XI:
Crossbreed Warriors will look to maintain their winning streak.  Their opponents are not that confident when it comes to winning as they have been up and down in their last two encounters.
West Coast Blazers versus Unstoppable XI:
Both teams have explosive players and will look to dominate the proceedings. The team that is consistent will be the victorious one.
West Coast Blazers versus Mighty Lions:
Blazers will look to take advantage against a team lacking confidence in their batting and their bowling can also crack when under pressure. Mighty Lions will look to gain a much needed win to boost that confidence as well get back to their winning ways.
Meanwhile, the One Ball Manto will continue as spectators gear up for a winner being announced at the conclusion of the day’s proceedings. This format has brought out a lot of happiness to spectators as the prizes to be won are worth the chance in credit, sports watch, and trophies.
