Just Call Me Boss showed them that it is not called by that name by accident when it whipped the field to churn out another victory in a feature event at the Rising Sun Turf Club yesterday.
The victory was its fourth in a row and the animal from the Jagdeo stable remain unbeaten on that turf. The occasion was the Rising Sun Turf Club in collaboration with the Inshan Bacchus Trucking Service “Hellie’s Day of racing.
Even with Score Even in the feature A and lower 1600M event, Just Call me Boss was unstoppable. Score Even, was out early but was soon overtaken as the long layoff took it toll.
The Boss ridden by Trinidadian Nicholas Patrick was soon in control as it romped to an easy victory to take the $800,000 first prize and the coveted Bank DIH trophy.
Campador moved up in class to take second as Score’s Even faded to third and Keep on Swinging was fourth.
Strom Bird of the Inshan Bacchus stable stormed to victory in the 3yr old and E and lower event.
Midnight Blues of the Jagmohan stables with Patrick in control was the winner of the G and lower event.
Big Man Bas of the Rising Sun Stable was in winner’s row in the H class event.
Cat Messiah of the Ghansham Singh stable took care of business in the event for animals classified H3 and “I” and lower.
Liquid Lion ran away with the J class event.
Red Region had things its way in the L class event.
