The Flying Ace Cycle Club (FACC) of Berbice recently recognized the services of their long serving president John Lewis.
Mr. Lewis, who is the third president of the club having taken over from Neville Mars, has been in the president’s chair since 1999. Allan Tinnie was the first president of the club. Lewis a former Chief executive officer of the Berbice Mining Enterprise (BERMINE) is also the manager of the Water Chris Hotel.
According to Lewis he is always interested in seeing youths develop and gainfully occupied, be it education or sports. He stated that he is happy with the role the FACC is playing in the career of the young cyclists.
He mentioned that once the cyclists vote for him he will continue to do what he can to assist them and the club.
BE THANKFUL AND GRATEFUL TO THE FOREIGN EXPLOITERS
