Leathers will fly this afternoon and continue tomorrow afternoon when the Guyana Boxing Association (GBA) presents the 2014 National Intermediate Boxing Championships at the Andrew Lewis Boxing Gym.
The boxers weighed in at the fight venue yesterday afternoon and Tournament Director, Terrence Poole said that fans could expect the action packed encounters often witnessed at this level.
Several Gyms will contest for honours including Andrew Lewis Boxing Gym (ALBG), (Harpy Eagles (HEBG), Forgotten Youth Foundation (FYF) Rosehall Jammers (RJBG), Pocket Rocket (PRBG) and Caryll Boxing Gym (CBG).There will be prizes for Best Gym, Runner-up Gym and Best Boxer. The action gets underway at 18:00hrs.
